The enormous demand for the SMART repair service is plain to see and has been exhaustively tried, tested and proven. Look around any supermarket car park on any day of the week and you’ll find a huge number of vehicles that have sustained minor damage.

In fact, according to ICM* research, 74% of us have experienced this type of damage just from ‘dent and run’ drivers. The true figure reflecting how many of us have suffered minor damage to our cars is thought by other reliable sources* to be nearer 100%.

According to the SMMT, there are already over 34 million registered vehicles in the UK*, with new car registrations running at around 2.5 million a year and rising. Combine these figures with forecasts from industry experts* and we can confidently predict that the potential market for Smart Repairs amounts to many millions of vehicles per year – a figure of 10 million may be conservative.

What is significant about these high numbers is that demand is far from being satisfied. To complete 10 million Smart Repairs every year would require around 10,000 Smart technicians and there are no where near that number out there.

Industry experts such as the VBRA believe that Smart Repairs are the most cost effective solution for this type of damage and that the industry is still in its infancy. With demand so far exceeding supply, there is still enormous potential for newcomers to the business and is therefore ripe for new franchisees to step into an excellent money making business from Day One.
